Mr. Durga Prasad established Valentis Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. (Formerly Sri Chaitanya Chlorides Pvt. Ltd.) in the year 1999. A visionary with an M.Sc. in Instrumentation Analysis from the University of Amritsar, Punjab, Mr. Durga Prasad spearheaded the synthesisation of niche APIs and Intermediates that Valentis today is known for. His expertise in handling mainstream as well as hybrid technologies in the sphere of analytical chemistry helped the company evaluate and produce specialty chemicals belonging to multiple therapeutic categories such as antidepressants, antibiotics and antifungals. Prior to founding Valentis, Mr. Durga Prasad was one of the first Directors of Aurobindo Pharma Limited and helmed the Analytical Research and Development unit.
